Framnäs World Music class
From east, west, south and north they come, and even from within our Swedish soil.
These young musicians all got together at Framnäs Folkhögskola to study the landscape of traditional music. Together they are Spektakel, and they play traditional music from the Nordic ocuntries, British Isles, Americat, the Balkans and undefinable lands, not yet discovered or populated. They make most of the arrangements themselves, with teachers who specialise in the different styles coachin them.
Their motto is: Be rooted in tradition without getting weighed down by it! Joy is high on the list when these musicians start making music, vocally and instrumentally!
